Responsibilities

• Conduct the product design and execute research trials to meet the needs of FGV ,FELDA and oil palm industry towards achieving site yield potentials (SYP) at optimum inputs.
• Conduct evaluation and development studies on the management of diseases and pests.
• Perform tasks related to technical advice on diseases and pest.
• Manage disease and pest control services (Agronomy).
• Provide advisory services to oil palm replanting area.
• Develop new projects and/or programs to enhance departmental portfolio.
• Manage the replanting initiatives for FGV estates and monitor the pre and post replanting program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Science & Technology/Agricultural Science/Plantation Management or equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years experience in Agronomy and Oil Palm Plantation Management.
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Bahasa Melayu and English (written and spoken)
