Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that the company satisfies its statutory duties in all areas of occupational health, safety, and welfare, including required training and reporting.
• Establish, manage, and monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to meet all health and safety obligations.
• Adherence to all applicable Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations and ensure that they are practised and communicated.
• Coordinate, assist, and advise management on all health and safety issues.
• Plan, organise, and carry out work programmes within the authorised budget to achieve the required zero accident and injury rate in operations.
• Ensuring the workplace environment is always free of health risks and hazards.
• Ensure that safety inspections are performed, fire drills and fire alarms are properly recorded, safety inspections, risk assessments, and safe working practises are handled, and staff understand their duties.
• Maintain complete and accurate health and safety and training records.
• Oversee the establishment of health and safety policies, work systems, and procedures.
• Ensure that risk assessments for all work equipment and procedures are completed and reviewed regularly.

Requirement

• Diploma in Engineering / Health and Safety / Environmental 
• Minimum 2 years of total experience in environmental management background
• Preferably DOSH registered green book holder, CePSWAM and CePIETSO 
• Technical and Professional Knowledge in regulatory systems, industrial standards, and compliance procedures.
