Responsibilities :
- Assist in consolidating various common items to be purchased via Centralized Contract.
- Assist Group Procurement in achieving cost saving from centralized contract items exercise.
- Ensure the proper procurement process is carried out in compliance with the Group Procurement Policy (GPP).
- Ensure subsidiary companies’ smooth operation by improving turnaround time on various existing centralized items.
- Maintain and monitor the implementation of centralized contract items for day to day operational needs; focusing on the contract commencement, renewal and new requisition from Business Units.
- Discover the most reliable and best suppliers for quality products in their specialties with lowest prices to secure greater cost saving.
- Study and analyse market demand and supply to suit with operational needs.
- Expand and consolidate more common items/services required by FGV Group of Companies.
- Develop genuine and high capability vendors through strategic procurement approach.
- Formulate best method to standardize items subject to the contracts.
- Utilize procurement system to optimize procurement processes and increase the efficiency of central contract unit.
- Handle special projects and assignments as and when required by Head of Unit/Department/Division of Procurement.
Requirement :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders and suppliers.
